In short

Curved fluted panels are real timber elements made to a fixed radius, with the profile following the curve. Fluted Studio makes curved fronts, island ends, desk fronts and cladding in oak or walnut from approved drawings. Standard radii such as R250 and R350 are available, and bespoke radii are reviewed per project. Curved work is quoted, with a lead time of up to 6 weeks.

Planning guide

What to know before you order.

01

What can be curved

Rounded kitchen island ends, curved base and wall cabinet doors, bow-fronted sideboards, reception and bar fronts, and column or pillar cladding. Any element can be made curved, subject to technical review of the radius and profile.

02

How curved fluting is made

Flexible profiled veneer is formed and laminated over a shaped core to the exact radius, so the flutes run cleanly around the curve. The production photographs show flexible fluted sheet rolled for a curved element.

03

Radius and profile choice

Tighter radii suit finer, flexible profiles; broad statement profiles need larger radii. Standard R250 and R350 radii are available, and other radii are reviewed against the chosen profile.

04

How to order curved elements

Send a plan and elevation with the radius, height, arc length and how the curve meets straight panels. We return a quotation and a confirmation drawing. Curved edges and frames are priced separately from straight work.

Curved elements / FAQ

Questions,
answered.

Practical answers before you order. Every project is confirmed on a drawing before production.

01What is the tightest radius you can make?

It depends on the profile and construction. Standard R250 and R350 radii are available; tighter or bespoke radii are reviewed per project.

02Can a curved island end match straight panels?

Yes. We plan the joint between curved and straight elements on the drawing so the flutes continue around the island.

03How much do curved fluted panels cost?

Curved fronts start from £350 per m² in oak and £410 per m² in walnut, plus edges and finish. Every curved element is quoted from drawings.

04How long do curved elements take?

Up to 6 weeks from drawing approval and payment.

05Can I order curved panels in the online configurator?

Not yet — the configurator covers straight fronts. Send your drawing on WhatsApp or by email for a curved quotation.
