Material + specification

What to know before you specify.

01

Tall door construction

Wardrobe doors place particular demands on flatness, weight and hardware. The selected core material and total thickness must coordinate with hinge specification, carcass clearances and the intended opening system.

02

Continuous fitted elevations

Profiles can be planned across several leaves so the rhythm reads beyond individual doors. Final gaps, scribes, end panels and handle details are needed to prepare an accurate layout.

03

Edges and handles

Matching veneer or solid timber lipping can form robust visible edges where appropriate. Pulls, recessed details and push-to-open hardware should be resolved without unintentionally interrupting the profile.

04

Timber and finish approval

Oak creates a lighter architectural field; walnut creates deeper contrast. Approve the timber and finish on the actual profile because shadows and sheen differ from flat reference samples.

Specification FAQ

Questions,
answered precisely.

Concise guidance for professional design and joinery teams. Project-specific requirements are confirmed on the approved specification.

01Can you supply complete wardrobe doors?

Finished component supply can be discussed, but hardware interfaces and final drawings must be approved before manufacture.

02Will tall fluted doors stay flat?

Flatness depends on the complete balanced construction, size, core material, environment and installation. These factors are reviewed during specification.

03Can profiles continue across several doors?

Yes, where finished dimensions, gaps and sequence are supplied before the layout is approved.

04Are both oak and walnut available?

European oak and American walnut are the current online timber options.
